How we use your information — Save Our Fields petition

The Save Our Fields campaign is responsible for the information you give when you sign our petition. You can contact us at info@saveourfields.org.uk.

We collect your name and address so we can demonstrate to Warwick District Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council — who jointly prepare the South Warwickshire Local Plan — that objectors are genuine local residents. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in taking part in the planning process.

When we submit the petition, your name and address become part of a public planning process: they will be seen by council officers and councillors, and the councils may publish or disclose representations. We cannot guarantee the councils will keep these details confidential.

Giving your email address is optional. If you provide it on the form, you're consenting to us emailing you campaign and petition updates; you can unsubscribe at any time by emailing info@saveourfields.org.uk. We will not share your email with anyone else.

We keep the petition data until the South Warwickshire Local Plan process concludes, after which we securely delete it. You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
